ReStore Logistics Manager

Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region is seeking an energetic individual with excellent customer service skills to manage our Logistics Team and assist with our donors. The position will be responsible for managing a team of truck drivers, answering the donations hot-line, scheduling donations, routing trucks, and maintaining the truck fleet; while representing the organization in a positive manner to all team members, donors, customers, and others with whom you come into contact. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial experience and must be able to problem solve. This is a 40-45 hour per week full-time position.

AmeriCorps positions

AmeriCorps Construction Crew Leader

Building and repairing more homes is an integral part to our contribution to better neighborhoods and communities, increasing the number of families served. These AmeriCorps members will help manage and develop groups of skilled and unskilled volunteers and homeowner families on the build sites, all while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. The members serving in this role will be part of the AmeriCorps team that will give the necessary boost to significantly increase the number of families our affiliate is able to serve through our Critical Home Repair (CHR), Rehab and New Construction projects. With the assistance of the AmeriCorps members serving in this role, Habitat Charlotte will complete 54 new builds, 85 home repairs and 15 rehabs during the service term. We view the construction crew leaders as integral to our goals of building and repairing more homes and better neighborhoods and communities throughout our service area.

Preferred qualifications are:
• Desire to serve our community and an understanding of service oriented work
• Past history of service or related experience with Habitat for Humanity or other non-profits
• Leadership experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changes in schedules, weather conditions and other circumstances
• Construction experience
• Outdoor work environment experience
• Ability to lead volunteers
