The typical time from submitting an application to completion of repairs is typically one year.
Repayment is determined by your HUD income level. In some cases, Habitat Charlotte can offer to finance the discounted amount with an interest-free mortgage to be paid over five years.
Critical Home Repair homeowners are required to complete 75 community service hours, but all of those hours do not have to be completed with Habitat Charlotte. CHR homeowners are not required to work on their own home.
