Olympic Community of Schools

Olympic Community of Schools hosted a dedication during the month of May for a Habitat Charlotte home, which was constructed on the Olympic Campus in 2007. The build began with a platform and wall-framing during the school year, while community volunteers chipped in lending financial support and investing more than 1,400 hours of labor.

Following the completion of the on-campus build, the home was moved to a local Charlotte neighborhood. Olympic Career Coordinator, Michael Realon, organized the students for this unique classroom assignment to create a blue print, a timeline and construct a new Habitat Charlotte house. Planning is underway for a second house to be built during the 2008–2009 academic year.

To lend your support to any of the current class projects please contact the school(s) directly.
