Adopt-A-Home: $70,000

The Adopt-A-Home program allows groups to provide all the funds and volunteers necessary to build a house. Typically your organization provides approximately 25-30 volunteers - for each of 12 workdays -  work alongside a future homeowner as they build their Habitat house from the ground up. Since groups vary in physical and financial resources, we're happy to help identify partnership opportunities or to develop a specific volunteer and funding program for your group.

Partner Sponsorships: $15,000, $20,000 or $35,000

Your organization contributes one-fourth to one-half of a full sponsorship fee and partners with another corporate or faith-based sponsor to build a home. Volunteer requirements are defined by the partnering groups.

NRI (Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative) Sponsors: $45,000

As Habitat Charlotte is able to acquire more vacant, foreclosed homes, NRI Sponsors have the opportunity to help us to quickly serve a local family-in-need while also helping to preserve existing affordable housing in our community. Even factoring in necessary repairs, the total cost of purchasing and rehabbing these homes is significantly less than the cost to construct a new one.

Adopt-A-Lot: $10,000

The Adopt-A-Lot program was developed to combat the diminishing availability of affordable land to build housing on. Adopt-A-Lot sponsors will assume fiscal leadership of an entire lot of land through a sponsorship fee.

Adopt-A-Repair Project: $7,500

The Critical Home Repair program was created as another avenue to help eliminate substandard housing. The program serves the needs of homeowners in the 50% HUD income range (or below) whose homes are in danger of becoming condemned or razed.

Adopt-A-Day: $2,500

Adopt-A-Day is a fairly new sponsorship program allowing groups to participate in an exciting day of team building on a Habitat Charlotte home. Habitat provides building materials, training and supervision.
