Help a family build their dream home

One of the most rewarding projects any organization can undertake is a partnership with Habitat for Humanity to Adopt-a-Home.  That's because your group can literally build a home from the ground up right alongside future homeowners, while building teamwork and morale in the process.  Your group’s effort enable a family to realize a dream of homeownership that would never be possible without Habitat’s and your support.

Full House Sponsorship $60,000

This pays for the materials and labor costs associated with building the house.  Volunteer requirements vary, depending on the task for the day.  Typically your organization provides approximately 25-30 volunteers for each of 12 work days.  Habitat Charlotte has an extensive volunteer crew system to supplement your group when needed.

Partner Sponsorships $15,000 $20,000 $30,000

Your organization contributes one-fourth to one-half of the sponsorship fee and partners with another corporate or faith-based sponsor to build the home.  Volunteer requirements are defined by the partnering groups.

Team Build Projects $2500 - $8000

Your organization contributes one-fourth to one-half of the sponsorship fee and partners with another corporate or faith-based sponsor to build the home.  Volunteer requirements are defined by the partnering groups.

Be it through a full house sponsorship, or as part of a group, Adopt-a-Home Sponsors agree to:

• Raise the Sponsorship fee of $60,000
• Coordinate publicity inside & outside their group
• Recruit volunteers and coordinate the construction process with Habitat staff
• Designate a Family Partner to work with Habitat family
