Overview
Thank you for your interest in supporting Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte. Your generosity will help us finance the initial construction cost of a safe, affordable home that a local, low-income family may purchase through a zero interest, no profit mortgage. Because of your support, every mortgage payment Habitat receives is recycled back into our operating budget to finance the construction of more Habitat homes.
When you make a donation to Habitat Charlotte, your money will support programming and not arbitrary overhead costs. We've been honored with a 4-Star Rating by Charity Navigator for our sound financial management, ensuring that a vast majority of our annual income goes directly to supporting our homebuilding projects.

Even if you have materials that can’t be used on our construction sites, don’t throw them away! Our 2 Charlotte retail stores, called ReStores, take all sorts of new and used building materials, office furniture and home furnishings. Please check out our ReStore website to see if we can use your new or used goods.
Habitat Charlotte also needs your help with other alternative gifts. If you would like to donate land, cars, or stock, we are happy to walk you through the process.
Don’t forget to match your gift through your place of business. If you work for a company that matches gifts to eligible 501(c)3 charitable organizations, you can double or even triple the impact of your generosity.
