Joy & Serendipity

Joy & Serendipity

El Salvador

el-sal_webSince 1993, for every house built in Charlotte, Habitat Charlotte has contributed the equivalent construction cost of one home to its sister affiliate in El Salvador. In addition to financial support, Habitat Charlotte organizes ten day work trips to El Salvador several times a year. Each house built there enables a family to move out of mud, cardboard or tin shanties and into a decent, affordable home.
